Cityscape Maps is a well established company which produces guides and maps for many historic towns throughout the country.  In partnership with the Town Council maps and dispensers have been installed in the Market Square and Mount Street car parks, and in Park Lane close to the English Heritage car park. A further dispenser will shortly be placed at the junction of Abbey Court and the High Street.  One of the main advantages of these maps is that, unlike the old Town Guide, it allows the Town Trail to be shown at a much larger scale. The provision of this comprehensive information has made it possible to remove several of the old finger posts within the town, which had become out of date.
